Russian Navigation Technologies has summed up its activity on the Ukrainian market in 2011

Russian Navigation Technologies, a leading Russian provider of fleet monitoring and control systems, announced the results of its activities in the Ukrainian market in 2011.

Ukraine, due to the rapid growth of its fleet management market and strengthening good neighborly relations with Russia, holds a special place in the long-term strategy of RNT to expand its presence in the promising markets of the CIS and foreign countries. An important milestone in this work was the opening, last year, of RNT representative office in Ukraine, with its headquarters in Kiev. It is worth mentioning that the office was created on the base of Track Auto, the largest partner of RNT in Ukraine. Thus, from the first day of work the new office had highly qualified personnel, technologies and competencies needed to implement the most difficult projects for deployment of vehicles monitoring systems in any industry. Today, the organizational structure of the representative office includes the Directorate and the four departments:  marketing, finances, technical department and sales.

The main task of the new unit in the past year was the promotion of the RNT solutions based on the GPS/GLONASS-enabled AutoTracker fleet monitoring and control  system in the Ukrainian market.  This task was successfully accomplished.  Thus, in the reporting period RNT gained major government and commercial enterprises as customers. The following among them are noteworthy: Dnepropetrovsk region GAI (Ministry of Internal Affairs), AvtoKrAZ (truck manufacturer), TD Levada (production and distribution of food products), SAT LLC (courier company), Alakazay-Tea LLC (tea distributor), Bartnik LLC (distribution of honey), Maximum LLC (distribution of alcoholic beverages), Troyanda LLC (food products distribution), Pavlogradskaya CEP (processing plant, coal industry), Sigma LLC (food products distribution), TD Latest (distribution of industrial goods), KP Budavtodor (garbage collection) and SFG Bereginya (agricultural company).  RNT regards as an important achievement not only the number of completed projects, but the diversification of its customer base over various industries.

It is very important that the RNT representative office in Ukraine regularly provides its potential customers with the opportunity to test the AutoTracker system on their vehicles and specialized equipment, which is an important competitive advantage. During this test the client receives an assessment of the deployment cost efficiency tied to the company specifics, a draft of the information system, as well as the overall idea on the onboard equipment reliability, software usability and system support quality.

In 2011, two unique developments by RNT were presented to the Ukrainian customers, at the same time with their premiere in Russia. The first of these is the industrial production launch of a new line of on-board AutoTracker equipment based on AT10, the new generation technological platform.  The second is the AT-Web 2.0 Internet application, an interface for a full-featured fleet management system provided as a "cloud" service. Striving to quickly present its development to the widest range of potential users, RNT participated in a number of nationwide Ukrainian events. Thus, AutoTracker-based solutions for agricultural enterprises and international transportation were demonstrated in the Agrarian Ukraine, Transport and Logistics and AIAC-Ukraine trade shows. At such events as an IT directors forum, Automation.Energy Industry.Ukraine and AT-Passenger Transportation, the emphasis was placed on the RNT solutions for Energy and municipal transportation.

Another important objective for the Ukrainian branch of RNT was to accelerate the development of dealer network.  As of today, as many as five RNT dealers work in the main industrial regions of the country:  Kiev, Dnepropetrovsk, Kharkov, Krivoy Rog and Donetsk. This proves the efficiency of the RNT representative office and is a sign of high confidence in the AutoTracker brand in the Ukraine.

“In the last year the RNT office in Ukraine has taken a great start.  During the year, all the tasks that the parent company management charged us with were fulfilled. The market strategy, the technology of interaction with the head office, the dealer policy – everything has been tested and proven,” says Ruslan Fedorenko, RNT sales representative in Ukraine. “In 2012, we plan to significantly strengthen our position in the domestic market of Ukraine.  By the end of the year, at least 1,500 vehicles and specialized equipment units must be equipped with AutoTracker. We will surely continue to expand and develop the dealer network, we will more actively promote industry-specific solutions for mining and processing plants, agribusiness, oil industry, municipal government. I am convinced that maintaining precise project management and high quality customer service together with expanding our activities will allow us to make the AutoTracker brand the most famous and respected brand in the Ukrainian fleet management market”.
