AT-Panel communication unit

This device can be used on all types of vehicles and machinery where there is a need to monitor the operation of slowly rotating mechanisms. It is used widely in construction, as well as in the petroleum and mining industries.
On vehicles equipped with an AutoTracker system, a communication panel can also be installed to send textual information or a defined set of messages. Functioning like a pager, the panel can receive messages generated by the system (such as the address of the next call request) as well as messages entered manually by the dispatcher. In response, the driver can send a signal accepting or declining the call request, along with other information on the status of the vehicle.
The AT-Panel is designed for use in taxis, in emergency, courier, and repair vehicles, and in other situations when service calls must be assigned quickly to available crews. For efficient operation in this context, the server portion of the AutoTracker system is integrated with the organization's call processing system. AutoTracker's open programming architecture allows it to work with a wide variety of software products used by our clients.
Sending an address in text form makes it possible to automate the assignment of vehicles to calls and prevents the errors and repeated requests that are common when speaking by radio. This increases the quality of the service and the productivity of the dispatcher. The large, easy-to-read text, the backlit display, and the ability to send messages with the push of a button minimize the driver's distraction from the road, which enhances traffic safety.
